sniff,sniff,sniff

That is what i have heard all day and have been doing myself too. Everyone except my hubby has a cold. I am sooo tired. everyone is just mildly ill so that is good. its hard to see your babies no matter how old feel bad. to me that is the worse stress as a Mom.

wow its lunchtime already

Iwent to the thrift store this morning. also went to Aldi. I really like that store. Their brands are such great quality. I can get so much more for my money and don't have to fumble with coupons. I had all three kiddos in tow and we made it. I wonder how many times I said the word no while we were gone.Now they are watching one of my all time favs. from when I was a child. Pete's Dragon and they are loving it. Of course we got it at the thrift store.

mothers day nap

took my annual mothers day nap. i look forward to it all year.

we have a chicken coop!!

we spent today getting a chicken coop ready for our baby chicks. they look so small in it. they were ready to come out of their box and spread their wings. the boys keep going in the coop to play with the chicks. so fun for them. i am so happy to give them the experience.

no more excuses

Taking the kiddos to the sitter today so my hubby and I can take His mom and sister out to eat. We are taking them to one of our favorite places--Marietta Fruit Company--they have really good southern cooking. I will try not to over eat. But at least it is veggies. I took the kids on a walk yesterday evening and for the first time stopped and played on the playground two streets behind us. They had a blast. I am tired of making excuses--ex. i have three kids, home-school,have no time. We make time for what is important. I will get moving doing something active every day!!

artist trading cards

I recently have been trying to find some hobbies. I have found that i really like doing art.i joined a couple of groups that trade these cards called artist trading cards also known as ATC's for the people in the groups. they give a subject and you create your art on a baseball card size card. It is so fun and really gets you to tap into your creative side.

Okay so I saw myself on a video yesterday and thought i looked like i had on a fat suit. I'm not one to be real down on my looks but wow i was shocked!! my youngest child is 11 months so I'm not sure how much longer i can call it baby weight. I'm still nursing her so I'm hungry a lot but i am choosing the wrong foods and drink. So i went for a long walk last night and want to start being more active. i am going to keep a food journal.
